Runaway Bay Soccer Club is a community junior and senior soccer club founded in 1977, playing at the Runaway Bay Sports Complex on the corner of Lae Drive and Bayview Street, opposite Runaway Bay Shopping Centre. The club caters for children from 5 to 18 as well as men's and women's senior teams. MiniRoos (U8 to U12) is non-competitive, and the junior competition (U13 to U18) has ladders and finals. Trials are usually held from mid-January, teams are picked in February, and games run from about mid-March to early September, with breaks for school holidays. Teams usually train twice a week on weekday afternoons, with games on Saturday mornings for U8 to U14 and Friday nights for U15 to U18. Families fill in an expression of interest form for trials and then register on Squadi. Current fees are not published on the website.
