Miniature steam railway in Warner, north Brisbane, open to the public on the second Sunday of each month; $15 per person aged 3+.

The Queensland Society of Model and Experimental Engineers (QSMEE), formed in 1932, runs the Pine Valley Miniature Railway on its private property in Warner. On public running days visitors get unlimited miniature train rides between 10am and 2.30pm, pulled by members' model locomotives on more than 2,000 metres of ground-level track with a steel bridge, two timber bridges and three tunnels. As of October 2026 public running is on the second Sunday of each month, except August, and Santa visits on the first Sunday of December. Entry is by pre-purchased ticket through TryBooking and costs $15 per person aged three and over, plus a 50 cent transaction fee. Enclosed shoes are required to ride, and young children must be able to sit safely on the seat; infants who need to be held cannot ride. A canteen sells drinks, ice-creams, a sausage sizzle and hot chips. No pets except assistance animals.
