Morphett Vale Railway Incorporated is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit club with a 7¼ inch gauge miniature railway at Wilfred Taylor Reserve, off Wheatsheaf Road, Morphett Vale. The railway is open to the public on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 1pm to 4:30pm (closed on the last Sunday of December), as of October 2026. A $10 daily ticket gives unlimited rides, and children under 2 ride free with an adult. Tickets are sold only at the ticket window on the day, first come first served, and the window closes at 4pm or earlier if capacity is reached. Steam trains make their last trip at about 3:45pm. The railway does not run if 34 degrees or more is forecast for Morphett Vale. The members' kiosk sells tea, coffee, ice creams and cool drinks, and the reserve has council toilets, free electric BBQs and a large playground.
