Maleny Library is a free council library in the middle of Maleny, off Maple Street. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 12pm. The fenced Tesch Park playground is next door, which council's park page notes is located beside the library. Sunshine Coast Libraries run free weekly Rhymetime and Storytime sessions through the First 5 Forever early literacy program; register online on the library website. Membership is free with no ID needed, kids can choose a collectable kids-only library card, and members can borrow two toys at a time from the free toy library (ages 6 months to 12+).
