Legends Academy at 340 Walcott Street, Coolbinia, is a Muay Thai and boxing gym founded by Daniel Dawson, who the site says is an eight-time world champion. Its Kids Academy teaches a mix of martial arts, kickboxing, boxing and Muay Thai with a focus on self-defence, anti-bullying and fitness, and lists confidence, respect and discipline as its values. There are groups for ages 4 to 7, 8 to 12 and teens, and classes last 45 to 60 minutes. The program runs during school terms and school holidays, and parents can use the gym's strength and conditioning area while their children train. As of October 2026 the Busy Kids membership is $26 a week for one class per week, on a month-to-month contract, and a free trial class can be booked online. The academy also runs a free anti-bullying school holiday program on set dates. Phone 0401 080 884.
