Telopea Park is an 8-hectare public park in Barton, near Kingston and Manuka, with picnic and playground areas, cycle and walking paths, a skate ramp, public toilets and barbecues. Parks ACT lists the features as a playground, Nature Play options, gas and electric barbecues, picnic tables, drinking water, shelters with shade sails and toilets. A stream runs the full length of the park, which is planted with mature native and exotic trees. The park dates from 1922 and is listed by the National Trust. The park is off Telopea Park in Barton and parking is available. Dogs are allowed on lead but not within 10 metres of a play space or barbecue in use.
