Keith Stephenson Park Skate Park

Last updated October 2026

Mount Barker's skate park sits in Keith Stephenson Park, which the District Council calls the premier district reserve for the council area. The 25 m by 30 m park was designed by local skateboarder Darryl Harvey and has fun boxes, half-rounds, steps and railings for beginner to high-intermediate skaters. Access is from Dumas Street via the Library and TAFE car park. The same reserve has an inclusive playspace with swings, a trampoline, a sandpit, stepping stones, a small rock climbing wall and a mini twin slide, plus BBQs, toilets, picnic areas and a shelter, and it sits on the Laratinga Trail shared path. Within a short walk are The Lobethal Bakery (about 220 m), Espressomento (about 280 m) and ALDI (supermarket, about 420 m).

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
