Jollys Lookout and Egernia circuit (D'Aguilar National Park)

Last updated October 2026

Jollys Lookout is a day-use area in D'Aguilar National Park about 28 km from Brisbane's city centre, with 180-degree views over the D'Aguilar Range to the Glass House Mountains and east across Samford Valley to Moreton Bay. Named in the 1920s, it is the oldest formal lookout on the range. Facilities include free electric barbecues, picnic tables and flush toilets, with wheelchair-accessible car parks and toilets. From the turn-off, the Egernia circuit is a 1.5 km loop (allow 1 hour, Grade 3 walking track) through eucalypt woodland and a shady creek gully; Queensland Parks describes it as an easy circuit for families with young children. Roads are sealed for 2WD cars and the area is open 24 hours.

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
