Jarrahdale Equestrian is a riding school at 162 Jarrahdale Road, Jarrahdale, offering lessons for children as well as adult rides and ride-outs. Tiny Tots is a 30-minute private lesson for children aged 3 to 6 on weekdays only, at $119. One-hour private lessons cost $185 on weekdays, and one-hour group lessons (up to 6 riders) cost $139 per rider on weekdays, with a 25% weekend surcharge, as of October 2026. Children's group classes (Trot, Canter and Gallop Clubs) teach riding and horse care, including grooming and saddling, and new riders must first book one private lesson for assessment. Helmets are provided; riders must wear long pants and fully enclosed shoes. Bookings are made online or by phone, are non-refundable and need one business day's notice to reschedule. The centre is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm, Saturday 8am to 6:30pm and Sunday 9am to 6:30pm.
