The Griffith University Gold Coast Aquatic Centre is a 50m pool on the university's Southport campus that is open to everyone, not only students. The pool is heated to 28 degrees and open seven days. An inflatable wall allows 25m lanes, and lane hire is available. The centre's programs listed online are adult learn-to-swim and an intermediate/advanced swim squad; no children's lessons are listed for this pool. As of October 2026, casual entry is $6, family entry is $12 for one adult and two children or $17 for two adults and two children, and 10-visit passes are $55. Summer hours (1 September to 31 May) are 6am to 7pm Monday to Thursday, 6am to 6pm Friday, 6am to 10am Saturday and 8am to 12pm Sunday. Payment is by card only; cash is not accepted.
