Fairbairn Golf Club is a not-for-profit public 18-hole, par 70 golf course on the north-east corner of Canberra Airport at 35 Laverton Ave. The public can play social golf Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7am to 7pm, Wednesday 12pm to 7pm, Saturday 1pm to 7pm and Sunday 10am to 7pm. A Mums and Bubs Tee Time runs every Tuesday morning, where parents can bring the kids and play 9 holes or just a few. PGA professionals offer individual and group lessons at the club, and junior group sessions or clinics can be arranged; no clinics are currently running. As of October 2026, weekday social green fees are $45 for 18 holes and $32 for 9 holes, and weekends are $54 for 18 holes. Club hire is $10 and pull buggy hire $5.
