Free 24-hour council gardens at 147 Alice St in Brisbane City with the Baldwin Lawn Playground, lawns and free guided walks.

City Botanic Gardens is an 18-hectare Brisbane City Council park at 147 Alice Street in the city, open 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Baldwin Lawn Playground is described as accessible for children of all ages and abilities, with a castle-themed fort, slides, a climbing net, a quiet play area and a sand pit. The gardens also have lily ponds, a rainforest area, a bamboo grove, the Riverwalk shared path and the Riverstage. There are toilets including accessible toilets, drinking fountains, picnic shelters and tables. Free hour-long guided walks leave the Information Kiosk at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday except public holidays. The Gardens Club cafe opens 7am to 3pm weekdays and 7am to 4pm weekends. Street parking is limited, with metered parking on Alice, Albert and Margaret Streets and drop-off points on Gardens Point Road and George Street. Dogs must be on a leash.
