Kensington Park Reserve in Kensington Park is a City of Burnside reserve with a children's playground. The council lists a modular unit with a wide slide, rope climbs, steps and a shaded turret, and a second unit with bridges, platforms and spring-mounted balance platforms. There are three swings, including a toddler swing and a double swing for an adult or older child with a toddler, plus a metal sit-in spinner, raised stepping logs, a log with animal sculptures, a spring-mounted rocking boat and a small rope bridge and hammock seat. The playground is partially fenced, has mixed soft fall and has minimal tree shade. The reserve has toilets, an accessible BBQ and a drinking fountain with a bottle filler and dog bowl. It also has a cricket oval and nets, and two tennis courts on Oval Terrace that can be booked through the council for a fee.
