Carrington Falls walking track, Budderoo National Park
Last updated October 2026
A short 0.6 km loop (30 to 45 minutes, Grade 3) near Robertson that NPWS calls family-friendly, starting from Carrington Falls picnic area (also called Thomas' Place). The track loops along the escarpment past several lookouts with views of Carrington Falls, which drops 90 m to the Kangaroo River, and includes a steep metal stairway into a rainforest gully. There is no access to the top or base of the falls. Picnic tables, parking and non-flush toilets are at the picnic area; bring drinking water and take rubbish home. No entry fee applies here (fees apply only in the Minnamurra Rainforest area).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
