Cairns Kart Hire is on the corner of Walker Road and the Captain Cook Highway, about 10 minutes north of the Cairns CBD, open 9am to 7pm seven days. It has a 450-metre outdoor go-kart circuit with Honda race karts and electronic lap timing, a two-storey air-conditioned indoor laser tag arena for up to 30 players, and three escape rooms for teams of 2 to 6. Solo drivers must be at least 12 years old and 150cm tall; the site also mentions dual-control double karts and a Kids U Drive option for 5 to 11 year olds, though that page was unavailable when checked. As of October 2026 kart racing costs $50 for one race, $90 for two or $110 for three; laser tag is $25 for three missions; an escape room is $150 per room, with under 15s accompanied by an adult.
