Cairns Kart Hire is on the corner of Walker Road and the Captain Cook Highway, open 9am to 7pm, 7 days. It has a 450-metre outdoor go-kart circuit, an indoor laser tag arena and escape rooms. Drivers of the 270cc race karts must be at least 12 years old and 150cm tall; younger children can ride in a two-seater dual-controlled double kart, and a Kids U Drive option is listed for ages 5 to 11. As of October 2026, karting for ages 12 and over costs $50 for a single 12-lap race, $90 for two, $110 for three and $40 for additional races; double karts cost the same as a single kart.
