Bayswater Waves is the City of Bayswater's aquatic centre on the corner of Broun Avenue and Priestley Street, Embleton. It has a heated indoor wave pool with beach entry, a whirlpool, a boat-shaped toddler waterslide and a lazy river, plus a big indoor waterslide, a 25m indoor pool, a 50m outdoor pool, a toddler pool, a hydrotherapy pool, spa, sauna and steam room. Ten-minute wave sessions and the slide run 10am-4pm on weekends, public holidays and school holidays. As of October 2026 entry is $6.10 for a child (3-15) and $8 for an adult, or $24 for a family pass. Children under 13 must come with someone aged 16 or over, and under-6s must be within arm's reach in the water. The swim school runs lessons from 5 months to adults, from $18.70 per lesson. Parking is free, with wheelchair access to the wave pool and free water wheelchairs.
