Adelaide Gaol is a heritage-listed former prison at 18 Gaol Road, Adelaide. Visitors explore the site on self-guided tours with a map, or book with independent private tour operators. The October 2026 school holiday kids trail was included with general entry. The Gaol is open 10am to 4pm, seven days a week, with last entry at 3pm, and is closed Christmas Day. As of October 2026, entry is $10.90 for children aged 4 to 15, free for under-4s, $18.10 for adults and $49 for a family of two adults and two children; children must be with a paying adult. Tickets can be booked online or bought on site. The site is pram and stroller accessible, with baby changing near the entrance,, with a canteen and free parking. While the new Women's and Children's Hospital is built, access is only via Bonython Park from Port Road.
