The Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology at Caboolture holds around 4,500 objects spanning more than a million years of human history, from prehistoric hunters to the Industrial Revolution. School holiday programs offer archaeological discovery activities for kids with Egyptian, Medieval, Roman and Viking themes. Entry is $8 for children over 4 and under 16, $15 for adults, and a family ticket is $23 (1 adult) or $38 (2 adults, up to 4 children). Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, with sensory-friendly quiet hours on Thursdays from 2pm.
