The Henson Park Hotel is an independent, pokie-free pub on Illawarra Road, Marrickville, with a family-friendly bistro, leafy beer garden and a front bar that is strictly 18 and over. The kitchen serves pub classics, curries and plant-based dishes with a kids menu, and on Fridays from 3pm to 6pm snacks, shares and kids meals are two for one. Kitchen hours are 12pm to 9pm Monday to Wednesday and Sunday, and to 9.30pm Thursday to Saturday, closing between 3pm and 5pm Monday to Thursday. Bookings for 2 to 20 people are taken online, children and prams count toward the seats you book, and walk-ins are welcome.
