Soccer club at Carnegie Reserve, Royal Park, with MiniRoos from under 6 and junior teams to under 18, training twice a week and playing Sundays.

Western Strikers Soccer Club plays at Carnegie Reserve, Kingston Ave, Royal Park, and has fielded junior teams since it was founded in 1980, alongside senior men's and women's teams. Junior age groups run from under 6 to under 16 for boys and under 6 to under 18 for girls. The MiniRoos season for under 6 to under 11 runs from April to September over 20 rounds, and the Junior season for under 12 to under 17 runs from March to September over 22 rounds plus a knock-out cup. Training is twice a week (Wednesday and Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday), generally from 6:00 to 7:30pm, and games are on Sundays with kick-off between 8:45am and 12:00pm, half at home and half away. As of October 2026, families register for 2027 junior trials and MiniRoos through an online form on the club website. Prices are not published on the website.
