Warril Parkland is a Brisbane City Council parkland on Paradise Road at Larapinta, at the southern end of the Oxley Creek corridor, covering 84 hectares of bushland. Stage 1 is open and includes a nature-play playground with water play, shaded picnic areas with barbecues and seating, a lake-edge boardwalk and pontoon, and birdwatching spots. There is also the Warril Parkland Discovery Trail, a Junior Ranger Program, and three gravel trails for walking and off-road cycling. The parkland is open daily from 6am to 6:30pm at 1059 Paradise Road, Larapinta. Glider Forest Reserve, opposite on Paradise Road, has 6 kilometres of gravel trails for walking, off-road cycling and birdwatching. The area is home to gliders, koalas and more than 100 bird species.
