Variety Kids Carols

Last updated October 2026

A family Christmas carols sing-along at Tolosa Park, Glenorchy, on the first Saturday of the summer holidays, with the Glenorchy City Brass Band, Tasmanian guest stars and a visit from Santa. Gates open 10am and carols start 11am; it is a BYO picnic, so bring a rug and food, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds go to Variety's work with Tasmanian children living with disability, illness or disadvantage. One morning session: gates 10am, carols 11am to about 12:15pm. A separate evening Carols by Candlelight session runs from 8pm.
