The PlayShack is an indoor play centre and cafe at Shop 7, The Hub Complex, 3 Maluka Street, Palmerston, for children aged 0 to 12. It has a gated soft-play area for children 0 to 4 and a three-level play structure with slides recommended for ages 4 to 12. Everyone entering the playground must wear socks (sold for $2.50). The cafe is nut free and outside food is not allowed. As of October 2026, weekday entry is $11.90 for ages 5 to 12, $9.90 for ages 1 to 4 and $3 for babies 6 to 12 months; weekend entry is $11.90 for ages 1 to 12. Adults are free. It opens Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 2pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm, plus Mondays in school holidays, and closes on public holidays. Free undercover parking is in the basement car park.
