The Chess Centre of South Australia is at 10 Ranelagh Street, Adelaide, just off Light Square. It is managed by the South Australian Chess Association (SACA), and most state chess competitions are held there. Junior chess in South Australia is run by the SA Junior Chess League, which is affiliated with SACA and lists the same Ranelagh Street address. The League runs junior championships and school holiday tournaments by age group, with entries booked through TryBooking; some of these events are held at the Centre and others at outside venues. SACA tournaments at the Centre offer a concession entry rate for juniors and students. The SACA website does not publish regular opening hours for the Centre or a weekly kids' session there. Tournament entries can be made by email or on an entry form at the venue at least 15 minutes before the first round.
