Southport Library is a City of Gold Coast public library. Southport Library is on the corner Garden and Lawson Streets, Southport, opposite the Southport Central precinct. The library is a five-minute walk from Southport tram station and includes the Local Studies Library, a café and outdoor courtyard. Council event pages list: Storytime (3-5 years) Fridays 10:00am-10:30am, Sundays 10:00am-10:30am; Toddler Time (1-3 years) Thursdays 10:00am-10:30am, Saturdays 10:00am-10:30am; Baby Rhyme Time (0-12 months) Mondays 10:00am-10:30am, Wednesdays 10:00am-10:30am. Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Time and Storytime sessions are free for library members, with no bookings needed, according to the council. Listed facilities include kids computers.
