Private golf club in Keysborough with a Junior Golf Academy; Sunday term clinics cost $90 per term.

Southern Golf Club is a private golf club on Lower Dandenong Road, Keysborough, set on a 130-acre site beside Braeside Park. Guests can only play when introduced by a member, so the main way in for children is the Junior Golf Academy. The club says more than 50 juniors take part in its term coaching clinics, and it caters for beginners through to elite players. As of October 2026, the First Tee program runs on Sunday mornings at 9am or 9.45am during school term and costs $90 per term. Fairway Finders, for juniors who have moved beyond First Tee, runs on Sundays at 4pm and also costs $90 per term. Juniors can then move into junior membership, which includes complimentary range balls, competitions and junior pennant. Applications for the Junior Academy are made through the club website, and the Director of Golf can be contacted on (03) 9798 3111.
