Schwerkolt Cottage

Schwerkolt Cottage is a historic museum complex in Mitcham, surrounded by 2.25 hectares of bushland and established in 1884. It has historical buildings, walking tracks, a cottage garden, a barbecue area and a family playground, and sits next to the Yarran Dheran bushland park. It is open Saturday and Sunday, 1pm to 4pm, and on public holidays except Good Friday and Christmas Day. Group tours are available for all age groups, from school-aged children to senior citizens.
