Riverside Golf and Sports Centre at 75 Newsom Street, Ascot Vale, sits beside the Maribyrnong River and has a nine-hole public golf course, an 18-hole mini golf course, a driving range, tennis courts, netball courts and an on-site kitchen and bar. The golf course is open Monday to Sunday, 7am to 6pm. As of October 2026, mini golf costs $9.70 including equipment hire and scorecard, and junior or concession nine-hole green fees are $20 on weekdays and $29.70 on weekends. Driving range buckets start at $17.70 for 50 balls. A PGA professional runs a Junior Golf program for children from 5 years, with four levels (Shark, Bear, Hawk, Tiger) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and Sunday afternoons; lessons are $30.80 each plus a $50 sign-up fee that includes a cap and t-shirt.
