Red Hill Tennis Club is a four-court tennis club on Astrolabe Street, Red Hill, operating since the 1960s and affiliated with Tennis ACT. Coaching is run by the McDonald School of Tennis, which offers junior group lessons after school from Tuesday to Friday and private lessons; bookings and payments are arranged with coach Matt McDonald. Juniors can play in the Junior Canberra Tennis League (yellow ball or green ball), a 10-week team competition held on Sunday mornings in autumn and spring, with home matches at Red Hill. Junior players must hold club membership; as of October 2026 a junior half-year membership (July to December) is $40 and the league fee is about $95 per player, invoiced by the club. Junior rates apply to ages 18 and under. Non-members can hire courts online. Social tennis is not currently running.
