Red Gum Riding, at 533 Gold Coast Springbrook Road, Mudgeeraba, is a horse riding school for children from age 5. The school also welcomes children with developmental difficulties or minor disabilities. As of October 2026, a 30-minute private lesson costs $60 (10 minutes of tack preparation and 20 minutes riding) and a 1-hour lesson costs $95 (grooming and tack preparation, 40 minutes riding and a cool-down). There are no group lessons. Bookings and payment are made online, and a student waiver form must be completed. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice forfeit the payment. The school is open Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 8am to 5pm, and also runs school holiday horse camps.
