QPRC Aquatics Queanbeyan, the Queanbeyan War Memorial Swimming Pool, is a council pool on the corner of Crawford and Antill streets, Queanbeyan. It has a 25m indoor heated pool open all year, plus a 50m outdoor pool, a children's splash park and a shaded grass bank in summer; the outdoor pool reopened on 19 September 2026. The indoor pool is open 5:30am to 8pm weekdays and 7am to 6pm weekends. As of October 2026, entry is free for primary school aged children and under for recreational swimming; adults pay $8.50 and spectators $3. Swimming lessons cover babies from six months with a parent, preschoolers aged 3 to 5, and school-age levels for ages 5 to 14; a lesson costs $23 per child. Demand is high, so the council asks families to check online availability and send a request form. Birthday parties are also offered.
