Piney Lakes Sensory Play Park

Piney Lakes Sensory Play Park is a City of Melville inclusive park where people experiencing disability can play alongside family and friends. Features include wheelchair access to elevated platforms, musical sound elements, a big concrete slide with a transfer platform, monkey bars, a rope climb, a cocoon hammock nest and an accessible roundabout. There are water and sand play areas with accessible play tables, swings including a basket swing and a swing with back support, accessible picnic tables overlooking the lake and an accessible drink fountain. The play space is not fully fenced and dogs are not allowed.
