Indoor Sunday market in a 1927 bus depot at Kingston with 200+ handmade, food and produce stalls, open 9:30am to 2:30pm.
The Old Bus Depot Markets is an indoor Sunday market in Kingston, held in the Former Transport Depot, a 1927 building from early Canberra, on the Kingston Foreshore. It has been running since 1994 and has over 200 stalls each week, focusing on goods handmade by local and regional makers: clothing, jewellery, homewares, art, collectables, a stall category for kids, and fresh produce. A gourmet food hall sells coffee, snacks and hot meals to eat in or take home. Themed Sundays through the year include Multicultural, Collectable and Designer Sundays, plus special theme events. As of October 2026 the market is open every Sunday from 9:30am to 2:30pm. Because it is indoors, it runs whatever the weather. There is plenty of free parking, bike racks in the courtyard off Wentworth Avenue, and ACTION bus routes R2 and R6 stop nearby about every half hour on Sundays. The website does not mention an entry fee.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 17 October 2026.
