Australian Rules football club in Hawthorne with Auskick and junior and youth teams for girls and boys U8-U17.

Morningside Panthers is an Australian Rules football club on Oak Street, Hawthorne, with junior and youth pathways for girls and boys from Under 8 to Under 17. Younger children can start with NAB AFL Auskick, a non-contact program of weekly skills sessions; the 2026 program started on 7 February with eight sessions from 8am to 9am, run by volunteers with parent help needed. An 8-week follow-on program starts in April after Auskick. As of October 2026, registered 2026 players will be emailed a registration link for 2027 in late November. The club says Juniors (U8-U11) and Youth (U13-U17) are expected to be close to capacity for 2027, so new players complete an expression of interest form and the club makes contact about available places. The clubhouse has a bar, bistro and gaming, and more than 50 free car parks. Prices are not published on the website.
