Montsalvat is a heritage-listed artist community at 7 Hillcrest Avenue, Eltham, with galleries, grounds and artist studios open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. Children under 12 get in free; family entry (2 adults and up to 2 youth aged 12 to 18) is $45 and adults pay $15. Clay Talk runs term pottery and clay classes for children and teens. Grounds are on a hillside with sloped paths, stairs and uneven surfaces.
