Middle Park Beach is on the other side of Kerferd Road Pier from South Melbourne Beach. The City of Port Phillip says these beaches are great for families, sunbathers, anglers, volleyball players and swimmers, and there is a swimming-only/no boating zone between Wright and Armstrong streets. No official page we found says this beach has its own lifesaver patrol; the nearest patrolled beach is South Melbourne Beach. The council lists restaurants, an exercise station and public toilets.
