Max the Magician is a Melbourne-based children's party magician with 20 years of experience who says he has performed at more than 8000 birthday parties. A standard birthday party show is a 45-minute comedy magic show followed by 15 minutes of balloon modelling, with about 20 children used as helpers; for around 20 guests he makes a balloon item for each child and a birthday hat for the birthday child. He brings his own microphone, PA system and portable power. He also performs themed shows (superhero, pirate, space, Christmas, Easter and others), school and kindergarten shows, school holiday programs and shopping centre events, and can arrange a face painter or glitter tattooist. He holds public liability insurance and a Working with Children Check. Prices are not published on the website; contact Max for a quote.
