Lidcombe Waratah Junior Soccer Club (also known as Lidcombe Waratah FC) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community soccer club founded in 1938. Its home ground is Coleman Park, between Nottinghill Road and Georges Avenue, Lidcombe. Junior teams run from under 5s to under 16s, with small-sided Miniroos football for the youngest age groups. Training is on weekday evenings from 5.30pm (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday depending on age group), and matches are played on Saturday mornings between 8.30am and 12pm. Registration is online through Play Football, with a birth certificate needed as proof of age; the NSW Active and Creative Kids voucher can be used. Registration fees are not published on the website. Shirts are supplied; shorts and socks cost $35. Parents are expected to help with training and canteen duty. As of October 2026 all teams are full and the club is taking expressions of interest for 2027.
