Leaf Litter Critters

A 30 minute hands-on station inside the Bicentennial Conservatory where kids design a critter from real plant material. They choose a critter design, build it from leaves, seeds and other natural items in the tubs, then photograph it through a frame. Free with entry to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition; children 12 and under enter free, adults pay exhibition entry. Daily 10:00-16:00 (the Conservatory closes at 2pm on days forecast 36C or above and does not open on days forecast 40C or above).
