Kent Town Swim is a learn to swim school in the RED Centre at Prince Alfred College, on the corner of Capper Street and Parade West, Kent Town. It teaches children from 6 months up to squads. Infant levels are Aquababies 1 (6 to 18 months), Aquababies 2 (18 months to 2.5 years), Starfish and Tadpoles (2.5 years and up); learn to swim starts at Jellyfish (4 years and up) and runs through eight levels before the squad program. As of October 2026, 30-minute classes once a week cost $49.30 a fortnight for Aquababies and $55.60 a fortnight for Starfish through Seals, and 45-minute Killer Whales classes $57.60 a fortnight, paid by fortnightly direct debit. Infant classes run weekday mornings and Saturday afternoons; older children's classes run weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Some private health funds may contribute to learn to swim fees.
