Floating water playground off Clontarf and Balmoral beaches for confident swimmers aged 7 and up; $37 per child for 60 minutes.

Jungle Float is a floating playground moored about 25 metres offshore at Clontarf (Sandy Bay Road) and Balmoral (Boathouse Balmoral Jetty), with jump platforms, a waterslide, rope swings and trampolines. Sessions last 60 minutes with up to 30 children, and a skipper and two lifeguards on board. The minimum age is 7, and every child must be able to swim 25 metres unassisted to reach the float in 3-metre-deep water. Life jackets are provided. As of October 2026 a ticket is $37 per child, and the whole float can be hired privately for $900 an hour. Bookings are made online for either beach. Check in with the lifeguard at the flag on the beach 15 minutes before the session, and bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Sessions are moved if wind, rain, lightning or water quality make it unsafe, with a full credit given.
