Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve
Last updated October 2026
Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve is one of the ACT's most significant wetland habitats, a refuge for the protected Latham's Snipe and many other species, cared for by the Woodlands and Wetlands Trust with ACT Parks. There are three mapped walks (Kellys Swamp Loop, the Woodland Walk and the Billabong Walk) and several bird hides, and a free app gives a self-guided tour. All mapped walks are pram and wheelchair accessible. Free off-street parking is at the end of Dairy Road in Fyshwick and on Eyre Street in Kingston; tours meet at 2 Dairy Rd. Open 24 hours, 7 days. Nearby: Barrio Roastery about 550 m and Lonsdale St Roasters about 750 m away.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
