Inclusive Swim (The Oaks Swim Centre)

Last updated October 2026

Adelaide swim program founded in 2017 for Autistic people and others with additional needs who find mainstream lessons or big aquatic centres overwhelming. All lessons are one-on-one in a calm, sensory-friendly setting, focused on water safety, drowning prevention and swimming skills. Lessons are $67 for 30 minutes, weekly during SA school terms, for ages 4 and up with no upper age limit; they may be claimable under NDIS plans. A parent, guardian or support worker must stay on site. Lessons run at The Oaks Swim Centre in Gilles Plains and in Brighton; Inclusive Swim also lists Sherriffs Road Swim Centre and Salisbury Aquatic Centre.
