Iceworld Olympic Ice Rinks at Boondall (2304 Sandgate Road) is a full-size ice rink running two-hour public skating sessions every day for ages 3 and over, with rental skates, rink guards on the ice and a coffee shop. Junior and tiny tot skaters must always be supervised by an adult, and spectators are free. Prices are $32.50 general, $27.00 for ages 6-14, $14.50 for ages 3-5 and $110.00 for a family of four. Birthday parties for children turning 5 to 14 run during daytime weekend and school-holiday public sessions, from $25 per child for a minimum of 10 children, with up to two guardians skating free. North Boondall train station is a two-minute walk away.
