Hobart Park in Johnston, Palmerston, accessed from Hobart Crescent, is a City of Palmerston park with a shaded Ninja Obstacle Course that opened on 4 July 2023. The course has eight elements: side steppers, over and under hurdles, a cargo net wall, a Tarzan bridge, slalom poles, a jungle crossing combo, a dual balance beam and a double warped wall. The council describes it as a challenging play experience suitable for all ages, and its opening media release says the course is suited to teenagers and young adults. A water bubbler is installed at the course. The park is a public council space with no entry charge listed.
