Horse riding school in Thornlands teaching children from age 5, with lessons from $67 and school holiday camps for ages 6-15.

Heritage Riding is a horse riding school at 59 Boundary Road, Thornlands, on 32 acres with an indoor arena, outdoor arena and cross-country course. It teaches children from 5 years of age as well as adults, using 26 school horses. Lessons run 30, 40 or 60 minutes in groups of 2 to 6 riders of similar level, and every new rider starts with an assessment lesson. The Giddy' Up Club for beginners is a 50-minute session with a riding lesson, horseback games and horsemanship. As of October 2026 a single junior lesson is $67, with 4-lesson and 10-lesson blocks also available; lessons are paid on booking. School holiday camps for ages 6 to 15 run Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, mostly undercover, with horses, helmets, boots and lunch provided; camps are $115 a day or $495 for five days. Riders should wear long pants and enclosed shoes. The office is open Tuesday to Saturday.
