Glen Eira FC is a community soccer club with junior teams for girls (U8 to U18) and boys (U7 to U18), plus NPL squads and boys' development squads for highly skilled players selected through trials. Girls' community teams train and play home matches at Lord Reserve, Carnegie, with matches on Sunday mornings from early April to early September; try-out sessions for new players are held in November and February after an expression of interest is submitted online. Younger beginners can start with Joga Bonito, an introductory program for boys and girls aged 5 to 13 that focuses on ball skills. The 2026 program ran on Saturday mornings at Lord Reserve from May to September (16 sessions) and cost $199, or $99 for late starters from Term 3. Players wear football boots; shin guards are recommended. Registration for 2027 is online, as of October 2026.
