Fawkner Tennis Club is a community tennis club at Mutton Reserve, 3 Creedon Street, Fawkner, founded in 1970. It fields teams in junior and adult competitions, including the NSJTA junior competition, which runs on Saturday mornings during school terms from 8:30am (higher grades may start at 7:45am or play on Friday nights). As of October 2026, a 12-month junior/student membership for under 18s who play competition is $130 and a family membership (2 adults and 3 children) is $320. Courts can be hired for $20 per hour per court, plus $12 per hour for lights, and correct tennis shoes must be worn on the porous courts. The club says its coaching team is changing and a new coaching academy is planned, so coaching is not currently listed. Membership and court bookings are made online.
