Edinburgh Gardens

Edinburgh Gardens on Alfred Crescent, Fitzroy North, is one of Yarra's largest parks at 24 hectares, with wide open lawns, large specimen trees and shaded areas joined by a network of paths. The council lists barbecues, a basketball court, a pavilion, drinking fountains and playground areas, plus an accessible toilet and parking, and the park is wheelchair accessible. About half the park is dog off-leash, but dogs must be on a leash within 10 metres of the playgrounds. It is a short walk from Rushall station and the Brunswick Street trams, and the Capital City Trail runs past it for bikes and prams. Entry is free.
